Willi Kunz, swiss born designer and educator played a significant role in introducing the new typography developed at Basel into the United States. Very early on in his career, Willi accepted a teaching position as a sabbatical- leave replacement for Wolfgang Weingart at the Basel School of Design.
Kunz has rightly been called an “information architect“ who uses visual hierarchy and syntax to bring order and clarity to messaging.
